If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?
I’m quite certain that Sam Dog understands exactly what I want him to understand: that I love him beyond measure and that everything that I do is better when he is with me.
He had a rough start and my boys stole him to rescue him from an abusive family. He came into our lives the same season we found out I have cancer and just before the boys scattered to chase their dreams. Everyday he reminds me of my boys and how much love we have and honestly, he keeps me from yeeting myself off this planet.
