What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

A shoebox full of money, thanks. Or the cure to cancer. Thanks.

I read some other responses to today’s prompt and most of them wrote something about time. One writer, a 22 year old paraplegic, wants to be let go. They want for others to release them from the obligation of finding some reason to want to live in a broken body and with a broken life. I know the pain that promotes those feelings and it is a hard thing to know this writer feels so alone in it.

Time. And to be let go. That’s what other writers want. What do I want?

A shoebox full of money and the cure to cancer being set aside, my answer will always be adventure.
