Scotchman Peak

This is genuinely a COUCH to peak plan – trust the process – you must grind before you shine! Be brave and do your best!

This is just a guide- listen to your body. Maybe you need more; maybe you need less – your safety and happiness are the most important!

If any hike is too difficult for you to be comfortable with your progress, continue your pre-training routine and do not move on to the next hike until you can repeat the previous hike with little difficulty.

Suppose speed is not a goal of yours, perfect. This plan is ready for you. If speed is a goal, you must add that factor yourself.

I use fitfortrips.com to create a gym version of each hike (treadmill and stairclimber) when I cannot get “boots on trail”.

Your Scotchman Peak summit should be completed by the end of September so you can avoid the added challenge of snow.

Let’s grind!
