Exploring the American Wilderness and Other Adventures

Creative chaos, new places, wild beauty, and spontaneous adventures

North Idaho and Spokane River Centennial Trail Section “Thru-Hike” Adventure!

What is a thru-hike? It’s hiking a trail in one continuous direction, from beginning to end. What is section hiking? It is thru-hiking a trail, in sections at a time.

This trail is paved. Is it a hike? That’s up to you. Does it matter? That’s also up to you.

Each day, meet at the ending point, park at least one car (depending upon attendance), and then take at least one car to the starting point. You will have walked the entire 64-mile Centennial Trail when you are done.

At the bare minimum, have hydration, a snack, a rain cover, and a headlamp with you..
